Macon Arts Alliance
Fired Works is a program of the Macon Arts Alliance whose mission is to provide a platform for artists and to promote the rich history of pottery in Central Georgia.
People have made pottery along the banks of the Ocmulgee River for thousands of years and artists continue this tradition even today. In fact, the oldest piece of stamped pottery ever found in North America was found at the Ocmulgee National Monument in Macon. To assist in getting this message out for their festival, the Macon Arts Alliance turned to Third Wave Digital.
The redesigned website FiredWorksMacon.com features a custom design, masthead banner tool, and prominent links for ticketing and social media. The website also features submissions forms for artists, workshop information, a list of featured artists and more. The site also features Third Wave Digital’s TWD.CMS5, a robust Content Management System which will allow the Macon Arts Alliance to update their site throughout the year.
